For people newly diagnosed with MS

The mix of emotions that engulf a person who has just been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis - and their close family and friends - can be extremely overwhelming.

groupSpecial groups take place several times each year for people who are newly or recently diagnosed which aim to dispel some of the myths and to provide answers to questions in a relevant and relaxed way.  Family and friends are also very welcome to attend.  These are run in partnership with MS staff from the Southern General Hospital and meet on a weekly basis for 2 hours over five or six consecutive weeks, usually in the evening.

Run in a very informal way, specific topics are addressed each week usually by a visiting health professional, with time for discussion and questions afterwards.

These groups take places in blocks throughout the year.  Contact us on 0141 945 3344 for more details.
