Kerry Buckley

Kerry 2Kerry Swim 1On September 13th Kerry took taking part in the Great North Swim, the country's largest mass participation swimming event. The event itself involved swimming one mile in Lake Windermere along with over 5,000 other swimmers. As an extra incentive to avoid choking, drowning, getting cramp or generally making a fool of himself Kerry raised an amazing £2,192 for Revive MS Support, with money still coming in WELL DONE Kerry and a big thank you

Shirley McLeod, Gillian Allan

Shirley & GillWhen they decided to run the Glasgow Half Marathon this year they had obviously forgotten the tears, swearing and joy of three years ago! Bit like childbirth!
They resisted long lies, drunken nights, short cuts and offers of lifts to run the 13.1 miles. And beginning their training runs in a pub car park was just cruel and mad!
On the plus side they moaned, laughed and set the world to rights along the way. Despite the rain and dodgy knees they crossed the finish line and got their well deserved medals!! To all those who supported the girls - A BIG THANK YOU - to the girls themselves a HUGE THANK YOU for raising nearly £700 to allow us to support people and their families living with MS.

The Sky's the limit

Top of Ben LomondRecently Jacqueline, Fiona, Evelyn Amanda, and friends braved the elements to climb Ben Lomond on behalf of Revive MS Support They reportedly had a mixed bag of weather that day including sunshine, rain, mist and wind but all enjoyed the day and felt they had achieved something at the end of it.  It took 3 hours to climb up and 2 and a half to go back down.

Our most sincere thanks go to Jacqueline, Amanda, Evelyn and family and friends with a special TQ to Gerry, Linda, Kayleigh and Colin

The total raised is almost £1,250, including a £200.00 donation from the Social Fund within Glasgow City Council.

Actress & DJ dive for revive!

On Saturday 29th March Revive's new Ambassador, Scottish BAFTA-winning actress Kathleen McDermott and hit Clyde 1 DJ Suzie McGuire faced their fears and took the plunge by shark diving, a once in a lifetime experience rubbing shoulders with one of nature’s most amazing and fearsome predators...  (A special welcome to Evening Times, News of the World and Sun readers and to Clyde 1 listeners if you are visiting thanks to a mention from Suzie!)
